Did You Even Notice

6:56 AM

Did you even notice? I didn't blog at all last week! Humm…

Saturday was a special day. We celebrated my nephew's 3rd birthday at Chuck e Cheese. I got to love on my foster love. On the way back from the city, the alternator went out. So four adults were stuck on the side of the road, an hour away from home, with four rowdy kiddos. We waited hours for my sweet uncle to come to our rescue.

Sunday was a very blessed day with our church family. Sunday school, worship, and preaching prepped us for our week ahead. That evening our church had a Super Bowl fellowship. Which I loved. It was such a great opportunity to meet our new church family and build on these relationships. Before going to bed, Satan did his best to try and put a ripple in our week.

Monday I got the kiddos off to school. This is the school day I do all my small and big chores in the house. I even wash the sheets. I did my devotional and worked on my CF ministry work in the afternoon. My evening was filled with biome making for my eldest son's science class.

Early Tuesday morning I woke up with a stomach bug. Husband graciously took off the next two days and did an amazing job playing Mr. Mom so I could rest and fully recover. I slept until like 10:30 am, took a shower, brushed my teeth and was just a lazy couch potato the rest of the day. Which was nice and needed.

Wednesday I was disappointed I had to cancel my FIRST Bible study with my dear friend. But, then I received a text that made my day HAPPY again! My baby sister is having a baby. An answer to many prayers! We spent the day cleaning out a rental property. We found old, abandoned window frames on the side of the house. We rushed back home just in time for church. We had a another ROWDY worship service with God's kids followed by a powerful testimonial prayer service.

Thursday and Friday, I woke up, took the kids to school, did my chores, devotional  and than worked only on my new venture. You see I think God purposely had the alternator go out just so my dad could talk garden and fan that flame of my dream to be more than just a pipe dream.

Can you believe we are farmers? Starting my own Pick-Your-Own farm. It's sounds crazy, but it's not. God has given me this dream and amazing opportunity. I see our farm impacting the world for Christ as my family leaves a legacy for Him. My long term goal is to have a "Where Life Began" tour. I see children and youth from all over coming to visit my farm to EXPERIENCE the story of creation, the fall of man, and the redeeming love of a promised Savior through the beauty of God's creation on our farm.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish." Proverbs 29:18

So what's your dream? Trust me it's never too late!

Well, hello! You're still reading…I always wonder who is actually reading my blah, blah, blah. So here we are at another Saturday. A new week approaching. How will you impact the world for Christ? Leave a Legacy!
